We are seeking dedicated Health Care Support Staff to join our teams across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. In this role, you will assist healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Your contributions will be vital in supporting patients’ daily activities and the overall efficiency of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assistance: Aid patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients’ vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas; ensure proper sterilization of equipment and adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients within the facility for tests, procedures, or transfers, ensuring their comfort and security during movement.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, observations, and care provided in medical records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Support to Healthcare Professionals: Assist nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals with clinical tasks as needed, contributing to a cohesive and efficient healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified healthcare support worker program is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, lifting, and movement.

Salary Range:

  • Canada: Approximately CAD 30,000 to CAD 45,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
  • United States: Approximately USD 25,000 to USD 40,000 per year, varying by state and facility.
  • United Kingdom: Approximately £18,000 to £24,000 per year, based on NHS pay scales and experience.
