We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage our HR department across our operations in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, managing the recruitment and selection process, and fostering a positive work environment across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company’s objectives and comply with employment laws and regulations in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.
- Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the recruitment process, including job posting, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems; monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Training and Development: Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee and manage compensation and benefits programs; ensure they are competitive and cost-effective.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor HR metrics; prepare and present reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
- Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
Salary Range:
- Canada: Approximately CAD 86,500 to CAD 137,500 per year, depending on experience and location.
- United States: Median annual salary around USD 130,000, with variations based on industry and experience.
- United Kingdom: Salaries vary widely
